God. Husband. Exercise. Budget. Family. Friends. Food.

I love the fresh start of a New Year.
It is a great opportunity to look at your life and obtain a new balance.
This year I have organized my resolutions into six main themes
with a few mini goals in each.
I thought I would share them with you lovely readers
in hopes you will hold me to them!

pray morning & night/ read something spiritual each day/ attend the temple twice this semester/ leave out non-uplifting entertainment
daily small acts of service to Dave/ spend quality time together at night/ pray together nightly
climb at least twice a week/ some other form of exercise three days a week
stay true to monthly budget/ save at least 30% of paycheck/ no debt on credit carries over each month
call or email each family member weekly/ look for opportunities to serve/ call Utah friends regularly
plan meals ahead of time/ eat dinner at home 6 nights a week/ one small sweet a day- bigger sweets only for date nights or holidays

What goals have you set for yourself in 2013?

  6. Those are some great goals. I went with the word Wellness to encompass my goals for 2013. I feel like Wellness can serve Health, spiritual, mental, emotional, relationships, etc.
