one thousand days.

When I was engaged to Dave, I was bursting with excitement.
Every day was wedding planning and enjoying being SO in love with each other.
It felt like our 5 month long engagement was never going to end.
I even made a countdown widget on my laptop so I could see exactly
how many days
how many hours
how many minutes
and how many seconds
it was until we got to seal the deal.

Yep, I was that bride. :)

Well, as time went on, our wedding came and it was glorious.
Then we were married for 1 year.
Then two.
and now almost THREE!
Crazy-- we even have a puppy to show for it... ha!

Anyways,
I never removed the widget from my lap top.
I secretly think it is fun to see how many days, hours and minutes and maybe even seconds
that we have been married for.

Which brings me to the culmination of this post...
the other day I notice my lap top told me we had been married for

You can laugh all you want.
But if you know me, you know that I love any cause for a celebration.
So we celebrated by eating out at Chuy's. . .
like we need a special reason to do that. ;)

  2. I still have the app on my phone so I can see how many days we've been married for. I love it (and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who likes seeing the numbers go up)!
