Early Christmas Presents!

As much as I don't enjoy living 2200 miles away from family, it does have it's perks.
My lovely parents sent us our Christmas presents a couple weeks ago
because they didn't want us to have to take them on the plane with us
and they wanted them to get here before we flew home.

I have been dreaming of a kitchen aid mixer ever since I had my own kitchen.
I honestly didn't realize how easy it would make baking/cooking.
It is so nice to just toss all the ingredients in and let the mixer do it's magic.
I HIGHLY recommend getting one if you haven't,
you will have it for the rest of your life.

Dave took a while to decide what he wanted for Christmas.
But I am so happy with his choice,
My parents got him a Wii!
He has played it every night since we got it and it really is so much fun!
I have always been against video gaming systems and the amount of time that goes wasted with them.
However, I feel the Wii is different.
The games are more 'active' and they seem to be more designed to play with multiple people.
If you are thinking of a gaming system for your family, I highly recommend the Wii.
We love it!

Thank you Mom and Dad for the best Christmas gifts ever!
However, the real present is getting to come home to see you!
Christmas is coming... just 4 days til UTAH!!

  1. Love your mixer!
my husband and I have been eyeing then in the store :)

  2. such sweet gifts! so happy you now have a kitchenaid, they are the BEST!!! xoxo

  3. The mixer is awesome! I love, love, love it!

  4. Great gifts! Don't think we're dumb.. We got 3 kitchen aids for our wedding and sold all 3 for 200 each. When we first got married money was more important. And the fact that I don't cook, nor do we have any room in our kitchen played a role too. But I've been dying to make some of the cookie recipes you've shared!

  5. I hope to have a light pink one some day! Those are great gifts. Great parents you got there! :)

  6. I got that exact same one for Christmas!! It's sitting under the tree and driving me mad that I can't have it yet!!

  7. Ooo I'm jealous! I'm dying to have a KitchenAid!

  8. Great presents! Wow! My Kitchen Aide Mixer was the best gift I ever got. (Mine is red)

  9. I need a mixer too, man... although that would require actual baking... hmm.... ;)

  10. I agree! I LOVE my Kitchen Aid mixer! It's one of the best things the husband ever got for me! -Jessica L

  13. You are going to love your Kitchenaid (well and your Wii too) but especially your Kitchenaid. There are so many attachments youc an get for it like a pasta maker and so many other things and you can create almost anything with it!! Lucky girl!
