Waldo. Pumpkins. Sore Throat. Carmel Apples. Seeds.

We had a FABULOUS weekend.
{Other than the fact that I have been sick with a sore throat}
It all started Friday night with the Halloween Climbing Competition.
Dave and I dressed up as 'Where's Waldo' & 'Where's Walda'
Dave set for the competition (he put up a lot of the problems on the wall)
so he couldn't compete but he totally would have won. He is a rock star climber!
AND....
I took first in my category! WOOT! WOOT!
I climbed in the intermediate women's category
and I took second over all the women there.
I was pleased with the result. And it was super fun :)

Saturday night we went on a triple date with some friends.
We ate delicious pizza at the most amazing Satchel's Pizzeria.

If you are new here, get used to seeing pictures of us where we don't smile.
I have no idea why they always turn out this way....

We made delicious carmel apples...
I loved doing them sliced up this year, way easier to eat :)
We coated ours with:
snickers. butterfinger. and peanut m&ms.

Dave worked really hard at our pumpkin while I made the apples.

He attempted a Spider...
but the pumpkin was 2 and a half inches thick!
FAIL.
(at least I am smiling here)

Today we lounged around the house because my throat has been hurting pretty bad all weekend.
Despite the sickness, I have been on a baking craze today.
Come back for the most amazing chocolate chip cookie recipe sometime this week.
And I baked these delicious pumpkin seeds. . .
Thanks goes to Laura for the amazing recipe

I love weekends.
